Locker clean outs 
All lockers must be empty and free of graffiti before students leave on Friday.  Please ensure that you do one final inspection before they leave.

Lions Quest is done.
We are officially done with Lions Quest for another year.  

I am done.
This is my last official post as TAG coordinator!  Yipee.

Yearbooks

Officially, yearbooks are sold out.  The reality is that I have about 5 books set aside in case there are any issues that need to be sorted out.  Once I'm sure that everyone who purchased a book as received theirs, then I will release the last few to be sold.  There is a list started in the office for students who are in line to purchase, but I think it's already longer than the number of leftovers.  

Start locker clean outs 
It's never too early to start cleaning out lockers.  The library is looking for their books, teachers are getting ready to collect textbooks, and the heat is warming up those old lunches buried below the rubble.  Consider an early locker clean out before the big one.

If you are interested in supplementing the Lion's Quest materials, there are packages of magazines available in the TAG Resources closet upstairs.  These can be signed out and used by TAG classes.

Beach Bash 2K15
Our only evening dance of the school year is this week on Thursday 4 June.  Please share this information with your students:

• Tickets are $4 in advance and $5 at the door.  They will be on sale at lunch in the main hall starting Monday.
• Dance is 6:00-8:30.  Students may not come and go.  Once they leave they may not come back in.
• The theme is beach, but bikinis are not welcome. :P
• Students who are absent during the day will not be allowed into the dance, so attend school!
• The usual school rules apply:  no drugs, alcohol, etc.  Students who are causing mischief will be sent home.

Yearbooks Arriving Soon
The yearbooks are scheduled to arrive before June 12th.  As soon as they arrive and we can organize them, we will be distributing them in TAG classes (hopefully by Monday 15 June).  This is a change from previous distribution formats, so please be patient with us.

Service-Learning Lesson 5: Reflection, Demonstration, Celebration

Next week we move into the final stage of the service learning unit.  I know that many classes will still be working on their action projects, and that's wonderful.  We have a Pep Rally planned for Thursday 28 May.  This will be a time for celebrating our athletes, scientists, mathematicians, and others.  It would also be a great time to celebrate the different services/actions that our TAG classes have taken.  So, between now and then, take a photo, record your totals, or otherwise document your actions so that you have something to share with us when we celebrate.
