Brock's Got Talent

Re-auditions are this week.  It's shaping up to be an entertaining show on April 8th.

Evacuation Drill and Whole School Photo 

We have tentatively booked the school district's drone to come on Wednesday to take a whole school photo.  We will begin with an evacuation drill to get everyone onto the field before lunch and then gather together on the back field to take the photo.  If it's raining or if there's too much wind, the drone cannot come out to play.  Stay tuned.

We Can Have Pi and Eat it Too Because it's Math Madness

• Wear clothing with numbers all week to have a chance at winning prizes. 
• Check out math problems on the bulletin boards between the foods and sewing rms.
• Estimate the contents of a jar every day and win even more prizes.
• On Friday bring your good memories and your appetite to Mrs. McCormack's room at lunch and enter the Pi contest.  The students who memorize the most places in Pi will win pies to eat. 

Brock's Got Talent
Auditions begin next week at lunch.  Sign up sheets will be on the window outside the counselling office for interested students.  It's not too late to sign up, so please encourage your students to sign up if they (individuals or groups) have a talent they would like to share: 

• Dancing
• Acting
• Impersonating
• Magic
• Singing
• Or something unexpected...

Anyone auditioning is required to show up with everything they need for their act:
If they need accompaniment, they should bring it along.  Students singing along to a soundtrack should have the karaoke version of the song.
